You should taste these super yummy breakfast burritos for yourselves. I saw this pop up on my social media feeds. I decided to get one, so I ordered the Meat Lovers breakfast burrito, and I was delighted with the quality of ingredients, burrito size, and incredible flavor. The service was outstanding, quick, and accessible. You can order by phone for pick up, which makes things easier since there is a small wait outside. The ambiance has big city vibes, dedicated outdoor seating, and a standing area for a brief dining experience. Good stuff. 5 star breakfast burritos.

You MUST come here!!! The food is incredible, the location is so nice and the service is better than I could ever describe!! If I lived in the area, I would be coming here far too much for my bank account!

Quick bite before our road trip and I thought it was pretty great. My bf and I got the Sausage chipotle burrito and the Ham chipotle burrito. I think the ham was way better that the sausage. I asked for extra salsa and it was standard tomato salsa and I was expecting spicy salsa which I thought it could use but the regular salsa made the burritos taste great and the burritos were super cheesy which I really enjoyed. The chipotle was not giving chipotle but it was still a good burrito and a pretty good sized burrito. The workers were also very patient with me changing my mind and were apologetic about the wait time.

I can see why this place was popular. Friendly staff and bunch of news articles showcasing the restaurant at the door. Quite a few customers but got our order in about 10 minutes. The burrito exterior is a bit crisp and inside is packed with chipotle sauce and filling. Pretty affordable and easy to bring around.

Food: always my go to breakfast burrito and lox bagel. Service: always friendly and pays attention to notes Ambiance: n/a - it's a takeout location.

One word: AWOOGA. I crave this breakfast burrito when I am near and far. It calls to me like a baby bird calls its mother. If you are in the FiDi area, you MUST get an Il Canto breakfast burrito. The guy working the booth is always friendly and kind, wanting to do anything to make your experience quick and delicious! These burritos are HUGE and could easily be made into two meals. I love Il Canto, and will ALWAYS come back.

I am a big fan of breakfast burritos and was surprised to find such an amazing one in SF on my work travels - luckily within walking distance of the office. I first found this spot almost two years ago and make a point to go at least once every time I have a company onsite (twice a year). To preface, I live in SoCal and have tried many breakfast burritos far and wide (DC/VA breakfast burritos are nonexistent). Il Canto Cafe is personable, quick, and the chipotle burritos are phenomenal with their amazing chipotle sauce and the perfectly grilled tortilla wrap. It's a small storefront, but they have some outdoor seating right next door. I usually just pick my burrito up and walk to the office or something. Food: - chipotle breakfast burrito with bacon/sausage avocado - I highly recommend either bacon or sausage and add the avocado! They don't skimp on the avocado like other places. I tried it with potato too, but it was a little too dry in some spots. The fluffy eggs, meat, avocado, and sauce combo is perfect. The only odd thing is that sometimes I wish there was an extra side salsa since I am used to putting salsa on my breakfast burritos. I love how reasonable the burrito is. It usually takes me two days to finish, so I save half for another day and I feel pretty full both days. I usually order online before I walk over to the storefront and on the weekdays the food comes out quickly. Sometimes on the weekends, it could take 30+ minutes to get the food out, so make sure to order early online. Overall, highly recommend this breakfast burrito spot! It's quick, reasonable, delicious, and they are super nice!

Very efficient, Friendly, Always bustin, Great communication! My brother works in the city and has been coming here since before the change of ownership and it's still great! Recipes are the same and they didn't mess with success. We came while on vacation and it was worth the brief wait outside, enjoying the hustle of the city. Clearly a huge call ahead and/or online order spot. There were about 5-6 delivery drivers who clearly came here for orders on the regular. Highly recommend. If you don't want to wait, order ahead.

Smaller than I expected but it does pack a lot of favor. Opted for a chicken with bacon and avocado. Chipotle sauce cuts through all of that as you bite in. Makes for one savory breakfast burrito. Cafe resides within the depths of financial district. Unfortunately there isn't any indoor seating. Small area neighboring nearby has a few but area can get windy. Walking is the better option for a visit but if you choose to drive, it is best to come by in the early AM right when they open. On the plus side, staff is friendly and efficient. Took less than 10 minutes from ordering to get my food.
